I can’t believe it’s August!
The time has gotten away from me these past few months, largely because I moved from New Hampshire to Virginia. Moving tends to be a black hole for time. But everything went smoothly and I’m excited to share the reason for this move:
Part-Time TTRPG Design
I’m officially doing TTRPG work part-time!
Half of my week involves working remotely for the research lab in NH. The other half is all TTRPG work - designing, writing, editing, video-making, everything I have time for!
I’ve been dreaming of making this transition for a couple years and could not be more excited to have reached this goal.
This also means that I’m available for freelance work! If you’re looking for a guest writer, editor, or voice-over artist for your TTRPG, I’d love to hear about your project. Here’s where you can find all of my links.
TTRPG Ballet
If you haven’t already heard on Twitter, I was invited to be a Source Artist for BalletCollective’s 2023 season. I wrote an original TTRPG for them, which was used to inspire a ballet premiering in NYC this fall.
I could not be more thrilled about this collaboration! The music was composed by Phong Tran and the choreography is by Troy Schumacher. I was able to watch one of their rehearsals in July and was brought to tears hearing & seeing it all for the first time.
The TTRPG that inspired this show is called The World We Left Behind, a 2-player game of exploration, loneliness, awe, and mystery. I’m working on a public release for this game, so expect more about it later!
The ballet is running in NYC from Oct 31 - Nov 2.
Project ECCO is out!
Project ECCO, a single-player TTRPG by Elliot Davis, is now available! I was invited to write a tarot mechanic for this game, and working with Elliot was a delight.
This solo game is about time traveling back-and-forth through a year to stop a time-consuming entity. It’s played using a planner!
Project ECCO also features layout by Brian Flaherty, editing by Will Jobst, and an original soundtrack by BE/HOLD!
Interview on Reckless A-Talk
I was invited onto the interview show Reckless A-Talk (a spinoff of Reckless Attack) to discuss all sorts of TTRPG-related topics, including working with collaborators and the creative process. Nathan was a wonderful host and I had a fantastic time chatting with him (you can tell by the first couple minutes - the energy was so much fun)!
TTRPG Videos
I finally updated my YouTube channel with new TTRPG videos from TikTok. These newer ones are a shorter, list-style format because I was busy with the move, but I’m now returning to my normal format of going in-depth with particular games. There are too many new vids to list, but here are a handful!

10 Singleplayer TTRPGs
Now that I’m dedicating more time to TTRPG work, I plan to post videos more frequently. If there’s anything you’re interested in seeing, please let me know!
That’s everything for now - thank you, as always, for your support!
